More infection

First, I'd like to thank my friend, Sam, who wrote to tell me I sound terrible. Well, that's not what he wrote about, but he did mention it in passing. Nothing worse than everyone saying how perky you are when you're. . . knackered (a bad word in Britain; no idea why. A knackers yard is our equivalent of the glue factory). . . crevé (a bad word in French unless you are referring to a flat tire; no idea why. Foreigners are so funny).

The oncologist doesn't see a problem with my blood counts, but the GP still does. They're going to talk tomorrow morning.

My posts are so boring lately.

  1. Go with the onco, I say.
I haven't heard the term "knackered" in a long time.

  2. You can have good counts for one and bad for the other. They are two different ailments - for want of a better word. The docs are looking for different numbers.

I can't wait to find out what it is. I know you can't either.

Your posts are never boring, Madame. And you sound just like yourself to moi:) Not knackered or creve... pretend there's an accent aigu there.

  3. inflammation and infection arent the same thing. inflammation is swelling. infection is a bacteria. Personally, i would prefer you have neither. I sure wish there was something I could do. Will say a prayer and send good Wishes. :) Luv ya!
